The event withmore than 1,250 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions were on hand for the 19th HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer, which opened last Tuesday (3 July) through Friday (6 July) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
It was really nice to be able to witness and cover Hong Kong Fashion Week since not everybody gets the chance to go to the event. But as a local blogger, I got the chance to get in, attend talks, see the trade and exhibits as well as some fashion shows.
(photo below) BANANA PEEL booth at the HKFW Fair. I used to buy Banana Peel flip-flops back when I was still in Philippines. They’re still awesome!
On the first day (3 July), I attended the WGSN Edit: A Global View on Key Style Directions for Spring/Summer 2013 and Beyond with speaker Ms. Angelia Teo, Content Director of WGSN Asia Pacific. The talk was fashionably inspiring, I had to take down notes. :)
the outfit. ;)
I made a short video for HKFW S/S - will include it in the day 3 blog post. :)
